Our clinic began its real, normal, open for business- scans with ultrasound and mammography, on monday January 28th, 2013.
It was a hectic week, (and prior weeks), and stressful to all our staff, and the staff of the Smith Clinic, and I extend my sincere thanks to everyone for their hard work and patience.
A few other milestones happened this week as well. We received our signed Information Managers Agreement (IMA) from Alberta Health Services and Netcare, and we informed the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta’s- Quality of Care- Diagnostic Services group, that we are ready for them to schedule an inspection to fulfill our full accreditation process.
February 9, 2013 update. We’re preparing some custom-made flower vases with our company name and phone numbers engraved onto them, and I’ve ordered artificial flowers from Afloral.com. (Our corporate image is a mix of: Doves, Calla Lilly, and pastel watercolor.) I’ve ordered “Real Touch” Calla lillies, 8 different colors, about 360 of them, plus grasses, to create flower arrangements. These will become gifts for reception desks at all our referring doctors offices, which Kristen will eventually deliver in person.
